Selah is a Hebrew word
meaning “rest or pause” and used in music. The symbol and flow of the river represents energy & the sound of life. Water connects the ebb and flow all things physical, emotional and spiritual. |

Meet our Team
Theresa is the Founder and Chief Learning Officer of Selah Institute, Theresa is a leadership development expert. As a professionally trained coach, her work passions are in integrated human transformations, adult learning, team dynamics, and mother-fetus consciousness. Her corporate experience in strategic foresight, planning and team development, envisioned the Big Thought Unit and Si’s The Origins Project as a ground breaking intra-racial dialogic and community development project. A Coast Guard veteran, Theresa holds dual master’s degrees in leadership and education and has completed graduate certificates in conflict resolution and negotiation. She enjoys gardening, building garden structures and jewelry boxes, swimming and reading. |
Melissa is a Founder and Director of Integrative Healthcare & Wellness. As a board certified nurse director a nationally recognized Boston based hospital she leads a doctors, nursing and support professional provide high quality patient care, innovatives and leads in individual and team development and organizational synthesis. Her work passions include research and writing and she has co-authored articles on diversithy, employee development and trust. Melissa is also a guest lecturer at Simmons College and co-created an intense adult workshop focused on disabilities in the workplace. Melissa enjoys working with youth, is an avid walker and is learning to play tennis. Melissa holds graduate degree in hospital administration and nursing and is currently working on her doctorate in nursing leadership |
